FAQ for Google Classroom
This usually happens for one of the following reasons:
✔ You are logged into the wrong Google account.
Make sure you are logged in using the exact email address you enrolled with.
✔ You are logged into multiple Google accounts.
Log out of all Google accounts, then log back in using only your Sacred Light email address.
✔ You do not have a Google account linked to your email.
If you use a non-Gmail email address, you must create a Google Account using that email before accessing Classroom.
What to do:
Log out of all Google accounts.
Open a new Incognito / Private window.
Go to classroom.google.com.
Log in using the exact email you enrolled with.
Click the link again.
If the issue continues, email us with a screenshot.
You need a Google Account to access Google Classroom.
You have two options:
Option 1 (Recommended):
Create a Gmail account and inform us of the new address.
Option 2:
Create a Google Account using your existing non-Gmail email:
- Go to accounts.google.com
- Click “Create Account”
- Choose “Use my current email address instead”
This happens when:
You downloaded the file instead of working inside Google Docs.
You opened a preview version.
You are not logged into the correct account.
Fix:
Open the assignment inside Google Classroom.
Click Add or Create.
Attach your file.
Click Turn In.
⚠ If you do not click “Turn In,” your teacher cannot see your work.
This may happen if:
You attached the file but did not click “Turn In.”
You submitted after the deadline.
You submitted from the wrong account.
Open the assignment and check the status.
Please:
Refresh the page.
Check your internet connection.
Use Google Chrome.
Restart your device.
This can happen if:
You are opening the quiz preview instead of the actual form.
You are not logged into the correct account.
You are using an unsupported browser.
Try this:
Use Google Chrome.
Open in an incognito window.
Ensure you are logged into the correct email.
If needed, refresh the page or clear your browser cache.
Check:
Microphone permissions are enabled.
You selected the correct microphone and speaker.
Your device volume is on.
You are not muted.
Restart Meet if necessary.
All live classes are joined directly from Google Classroom.
You do not need a separate link.
✅ How to Join
Go to classroom.google.com
Open your correct class.
At the top of the page, you will see a “Join” button.
Click Join to enter the live class.
📌 Important
Use the exact email address you enrolled with.
Join 5 minutes before class starts.
Make sure your microphone and camera permissions are enabled.
Use Google Chrome where possible.
⚠ If You Cannot See the “Join” Button
This usually means:
You are logged into the wrong Google account.
You are not yet enrolled in the class.
Try logging out and logging back in using the correct email.
If you still cannot see it, contact admin with a screenshot.
FAQ for Sacredlight Website
Go to the login page.
Click “Lost your password?”
Check your inbox and spam folder.
Reset your password.
Please check:
✔ You are logged into your Sacred Light account.
✔ Your course enrollment has been confirmed.
✔ Your payment (if applicable) has been processed.
✔ You are not using a different email address.
If the page says “You do not have permission to access this content,” it means:
You are not logged in, or
You are not enrolled in that course.
Click “View All My Courses.”
If your course still does not appear:
Confirm enrollment email.
Make sure you are logged into the correct account.
If the presentation is not loading, appears blank, or is showing an older version, this is usually due to browser cache.
When we update lesson content, your browser may still be storing the previous version.
✅ How to fix it (Clear Cache)
Option 1 – Hard Refresh (Quickest Fix)
On Windows:
Hold Ctrl + Shift
Press R
On Mac:
Hold Command + Shift
Press R
This forces your browser to load the latest version.
Option 2 – Clear Browser Cache (Google Chrome)
Click the three dots (top right corner).
Click Settings.
Click Privacy and Security.
Click Clear browsing data.
Select:
Cached images and files
Click Clear data.
Close and reopen your browser.
